Lately we’ve been making a number of exciting announcements about new features in your app or the dashboard. This week we’re excited to announce the newest feature for your app – Push Notification History.

Push Notification History is exactly what it sounds like. Users can view all previous push notifications in the app. Push Notification History displays the title, description, date and time. This is valuable for both your team who manages the dashboard and your users. It gives an overview of the recent events or emergencies that have occurred on campus.

If someone happens to miss a message or suggests that they never received it, a copy of the message will appear in the push notification history. We know this is a “biggie” so we’re really happy to provide this new feature for you.

Push Notification History is currently live in all our apps. It’s located in the “About/Preferences” section by default. If you’d like this feature to be more visible to your users, you can move the feature using the designer. For a refresher of how to use the designer, you can watch this video here.

If you are uncomfortable moving the “Push Notifications History” feature yourself, we’d be happy to do it for you. To learn more about push notification best practices, read “Push Notifications in Action”.

How often does your school use push notifications? Will Push Notification History make you more likely to send push notifications in the future? Is this something you’re excited about? Comment below and let us know what you think!
